Haitian is the world’s largest injection molding machine maker by volume, and its machines dominate China’s used market for the same reason they dominate the new one: huge installed base, parts everywhere, and mechanics in every industrial city who know them. If you buy one used machine from China, the odds are high it is a Haitian. This page explains the used Haitian lines, what they cost, and what to check — and how to buy one through MoldMach.
The Used Haitian Lines You Will Meet
Mars series (MA) — Haitian’s best-selling hydraulic servo line, the default used buy from about 90T to 530T and beyond. Multiple generations (MA, MA II, MA III and later) trade at different prices; the generation matters as much as the year.
Jupiter series (JU) — two-platen machines for larger tonnages and bulky parts, roughly 450T upward; shorter footprint for their clamp force.
Venus series (VE) — all-electric line for precision and clean-room molding; used units are scarcer and priced accordingly.
Zhafir — Haitian’s German-engineered brand (electric and hybrid), occasionally seen on the export used market.
What a Used Haitian Costs
Haitian carries a brand premium over other Chinese brands at the same tonnage. For orientation, our price index tracks Chinese-brand servo machines overall — about US$9,000–9,500 asking for the 160T class and US$28,500–30,000 for the 470T class in October 2026, FOB China. A comparable used Haitian typically asks above those anchors, with generation, year and condition deciding how far above. Any seller quoting a used Haitian far below the anchor range should expect you to ask why.
What to Check on a Used Haitian
The checks that decide a used Haitian’s value: controller generation and whether the screen/electronics are original; servo drive and motor condition (the expensive parts); toggle or two-platen wear; screw and barrel wear (ask for the measured screw diameter against spec); hydraulic leaks at pump and valves; and the machine’s real working hours where the controller records them. Our inspection checklist walks through each point in order.
Buying a Used Haitian Through MoldMach
Our published stock rotates across brands — see current machines — and Haitian units move fastest of all, often before they are listed. Tell us the model or tonnage you need and we will source against incoming stock: every machine we sell is inspected in our Yiwu workshop, refurbished to a stated A/B/C grade, and dry-cycle & purge tested before it is offered; a production trial with your mold runs after deposit, before shipment. Export packing and loading follow our shipping process.
FAQ
Which used Haitian series is best for general products?
The Mars series. It is the most common, the easiest to get parts and service for worldwide, and covers the tonnages most factories need. Choose Jupiter for very large parts, Venus for precision electric molding.
Are spare parts for used Haitians available outside China?
Yes — Haitian’s global service network and the sheer installed base mean common parts (seals, heaters, controllers, pumps) are obtainable in most markets, one reason used Haitians hold their value.
Can MoldMach find a specific Haitian model for me?
Tell us the model, tonnage and year range. Stock turns over daily; if we do not have it today, we will quote from incoming stock or tell you honestly that we cannot — we do not list machines we have not inspected.
